Creating Sanctuary: Sacred Garden Spaces, Plant-Based Medicine, and Daily Practices to Achieve Happiness and Well-Being -- Talk and Book Signing

Sunday, March 03, 2019

Being in nature nourishes our bodies, minds, and spirits. Creating Sanctuary, by natural living expert Jessi Bloom, helps you discover the places, plants, and practices that can soothe and restore you every day, in your own backyard.

Part inspiration, part how-to, this engaging guide includes ideas for designing a healing space, 50 medicinal plant profiles, recipes for herbal remedies and self-care rituals, and loads more.

"In this beautiful, inspiring, and hands-on, practical book we are invited to look deeply at the landscape around us and create sacred respites from our busy worlds."
-Rosemary Gladstar, herbalist and author

Jessi Bloom is an award-winning ecological landscape designer, professional horticulturist, and ISA-certified arborist. Jessi spends much of her time teaching, consulting, and speaking nationwide. Her focus on healing the earth has led her to study different lineages of the healing arts, and she now incorporates these into her work.
