Pets & Plants - Mass Master Gardener Association - Lecture

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Gardeners are, by nature, nurturers, and many of us have beloved pets. With the recent onslaught of extreme cold weather, you're likely being extra careful to safeguard those pet noses and toes.

But did you know that your pet may also be vulnerable to dangers in your garden - both indoors and out all year round?

Registration is now open for an important lecture on "Pets & Plants" presented by the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association as part of our new HOT HORT series.

There are many sources of information about plant toxicity, but they can often conflict. This presentation will help you to understand what toxic and poisonous mean to your pets and provide a method to evaluate the pet and the plant as well as how much risk is involved in each situation. The speaker, a Lifetime MG with extensive professional experience in her topic, will also share horticultural best practices and provide a useful handout.

Registration is $25.00 per person, payable by credit card or PayPal.
