The Max Warburg Courage Curriculum celebrated its seventeenth year in the Boston public schools with a benefit dinner at the Taj Boston on Wednesday, January 16.

Two hundred and fifty guests enjoyed performances by the Timilty School's Junk Band and essays read by students from the Health Careers Academy before the premiere of Sally Fay Cottingham's film, "Maximizing Courage," the highlight of the evening.

All proceeds from the event support The Max Warburg Courage Curriculum's work in developing literacy skills and unlocking the tremendous potential of young people in Boston and beyond. Congratulations and Best Wishes all around!

"Defending the Caveman" Will Move to Boston Center for the Arts

"Defending the Caveman," the longest running solo play in Broadway history, now a worldwide, rock-solid tour-de-force, "returns" to Boston for 14 more performances.

The comedy about the sexes is wrapping up a successful, sold-out 12- performance engagement at the Stuart Street Playhouse, prompting the producers to book it into the next available Boston theatre.

"Defending the Caveman" will play at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts from Wednesday, March 5 through Sunday, March 16.

Comedian Rob Becker wrote "Defending the Caveman" over a three-year period during which he made an informal study of anthropology, prehistory, psychology, sociology and mythology.

Tickets for all performances are on sale online at www.bostontheatrescene.com and by calling 617-933-8600.

The Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts is located at 527 Tremont Street in Boston's South End. For further general information about "Defending the Caveman," visit www.defendingthecaveman.com.
