The Boston Chapter of Save Venice, Inc. recently hosted their annual Saint Mark's Day Gala, "From the Silk Road to Venice," at the Taj Boston Hotel.

Founded in Massachusetts in response to the great floods of 1966, Save Venice has undertaken restorations of hundreds of works of Italian art over the past forty years. Proceeds from this year's benefit will go towards the restoration of the Church of San Sebastiano, a project that will take many years to complete. Congratulations and Best Wishes to all!

Vincent’s Nightclub in Randolph Celebrates 21st Anniversary

Vincent’s Nightclub hosted its “21st Anniversary Party” on May 16. Nearly 500 guests enjoyed the black-tie, invitation-only gala, which was held at the combined Vincent’s and Lombardo’s facilities in Randolph.

Each year the Lombardo family chooses three local charities to benefit from the gala. This year the event raised more than $50,000 for the Piers Park Sailing Center of East Boston, Boston College High School, and the Randolph Police Department R.A.D. program. In the past decade the Lombardo family has raised a total of more than $670,000 for many local charities.

Rick Larrimore, a Rod Stewart impersonator, provided the entertainment for the evening and kept everyone dancing the entire night. Congratulations and Best Wishes to all!
