Through February 6, 2011 -- The Ware Collection of Glass Flowers at Harvard Museum of Natural History

Friday, February 06, 2009 - Sunday, February 06, 2011

The Harvard Museum of Natural History's collection of Glass Flowers is the only one of its kind in the world.

Between 1886 and 1936, German father-son glass artisans Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka produced exquisite, breathtakingly lifelike models of more than 3,000 plants to be used for teaching botany.

This world-famous garden representing 847 species is just one gallery of many at museum, just a short walk from Harvard Square.
