Garden for Biodiversity - Arnold Arboretum - Lecture

Thursday, August 22, 2019

Sam Jaffe, Founder and Executive Director, The Caterpillar Lab.

Even a small garden sustains innumerable critters that contribute to a thriving ecosystem. So, understanding native insect life-cycles can and should inform your gardening practices and the plants you choose to grow.

Sam Jaffe, naturalist and educator, will present both the collaborative and deceitful nature of insects and plants as they've evolved to rely upon one another. This lecture, illustrated with Sam's gorgeous photographs, will expand your invertebrate knowledge, appreciation, and desire to be the best garden host you can be.

Income from this program helps support The Caterpillar Lab's residency, providing hours of free learning opportunities at the Arnold Arboretum, August 22-26, 2019.
